Every implementation of Gel Projects is different due to the ability for the software to adapt to perfectly match the needs of the organisation.  Gel Projects can be customised in the following ways:

Configuration Support

We can provide business process and workflow modelling expertise to help you configure and customise the Gel system to match your own Stage-Gate or other methodology.  With services ranging from business process modelling using UML modelling tools right through to IronPython script writing we can be there with you every step of the way to ensure your Gel implementation is a success and is delivered in the most efficient model.

Microsoft .NET Application Development

At some point you may wish to extend the core Gel Projects application to include new data fields, data entities or even entire modules to satisfy your own specific requirements.  We are happy to provide new feature and module development services using one of two engagement models.  If the modification is likely to enhance the product as a whole and be used by other licensors we would add the feature at cost to you so that the product can be enhanced.  If you would prefer your modifications to remain private to your own implementation of Gel Projects then our standard development rates would apply but only your company would have access to the new features.

Application Programming Interface (API)

The Gel platform has been designed from the outset to be an integration environment.  Every data item that can be shown or modified from the client application is available via the web services application programming interface (API) so it is a breeze to integrate Gel with other systems.   

Reporting and Business Intelligence Tools Integration

Gel is based on the industry standard Microsoft SQL Server 2005 database.  This allows your enterprises preferred reporting and BI tools to link into it in order to deliver your own reporting framework.  Microsoft Report Services,  Crystal Reports and Business Objects are all popular choices for delivering corporate reporting and the Gel platform provides the perfect data repository on which to base reports.
